Our Mission

At Kodungaiyur Christian Assembly, our mission is to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ who worship passionately, love unconditionally, and serve faithfully. We are committed to spreading the Gospel message throughout our community and beyond, equipping believers for ministry, and demonstrating God's love through practical service.

We believe in the transformative power of God's Word and seek to create an environment where individuals can encounter Christ, grow in their faith, and discover their God-given purpose. Through biblical teaching, authentic worship, and genuine fellowship, we aim to build a strong spiritual family that impacts our world for eternity.

Our Vision

Our vision is to be a beacon of hope in Kodungaiyur and the surrounding areas, known for our love, unity, and commitment to biblical truth. We envision a vibrant, multicultural congregation where people from all walks of life find belonging, healing, and purpose in Christ.

We strive to see families restored, lives transformed, and communities renewed through the power of the Gospel. Our goal is to raise up a generation of passionate followers of Christ who will impact their spheres of influence - in homes, schools, workplaces, and nations - for the Kingdom of God.

Our History

Kodungaiyur Christian Assembly was founded in June 1998 by a small group of dedicated believers who felt called to establish a church that would serve the growing community of Kodungaiyur. What began as a humble gathering in faith has grown into a thriving congregation of around 250 members.

In 2004, by God's grace, we purchased the land for our church building, marking a significant milestone in our journey. This acquisition represented not just a physical space, but a permanent home for our growing congregation to worship and serve the Lord.

After years of prayer and preparation, construction of our church building began in 2011. Through the dedication and sacrificial giving of our congregation, the building was completed in June 2012, exactly 14 years after our church's founding. This beautiful sanctuary stands as a testament to God's faithfulness and the unity of our church family.

Since then, we have continued to expand our ministries, including youth programs, children's Sunday school, community outreach initiatives, free medical camps, and educational support for underprivileged children. These initiatives have allowed us to be the hands and feet of Jesus in practical ways, serving thousands in our community.

Today, we continue to build on the foundation laid by our pioneers, remaining faithful to the unchanging message of the Gospel while adapting our methods to reach a changing world. We are grateful for our rich heritage and excited about the future God has in store for us.

Our Beliefs

We believe in the triune God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - as revealed in the Holy Scriptures. We affirm that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and the ultimate authority for faith and practice.

We believe in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, who died for our sins and rose again for our justification. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who enables believers to live godly lives and empowers them for service.

We believe in the importance of water baptism by immersion, regular participation in communion, and the practice of spiritual disciplines such as prayer and meditation on God's Word.

We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ and the eternal destiny of all people - either in heaven with God or separated from Him. This motivates us to share the Gospel urgently and compassionately with all people.
